U.S. Receives Fallen Release Dates

The last country to receive a release for Fallen, the U.S. has set digital, theater, and DVD/Blu-Ray dates.

Fallen will be available on digital August 8th, in theaters September 8th, and on DVD/Blu-Ray October 10th.

Based on Lauren Kate’s Fallen book series, the movie focuses on Lucida Price (Addison Timlin), a teen who finds herself sent to boarding school after being accused of arson and murder. After arriving at Sword and Cross Reform School, Luce meets mysterious classmate, Daniel Grigori (Jeremy Irvine). Luce finds herself drawn to Daniel, and after digging into his past, she learns his dark secrets may unlock the truth of her past.

Production for Fallen began in 2014, but no distribution company was associated with the movie, so international release had been delayed. In 2016, trailers leaked online and caused Lotus to finalize release dates.

Fallen debuted in Malaysia and the Philippines, with a premiere of November 10, 2016. Following, other countries received release dates, including Singapore, Brazil, South Africa, Hong Kong, Italy, U,K., Finland, Greece, Germany and more. The United States was last to receive a release date.
