Sarah J. Maas Announces Novella! (and ToG update)

The incredibly talented S. J. Maas is at it again! Today brought news of an ACOTAR novella – aren’t we lucky?

I would like to begin this article by saying, on behalf of the Bookstacked team, that our hearts are with Sarah and her family, and we all wish her father a speedy recovery.

ACOTAR

Earlier today, Sarah J. Maas announced, in her newsletter, and on Instagram, a new novella to add to her collection! This is set in the world of A Court of Thorns and Roses and is described to “bridge the gap between the original trilogy and the upcoming spinoff books”. It includes all your favourite characters, and is narrated by both Feyre and Rhys! I, for one, feel incredibly lucky – and I cannot wait to see what else Sarah has in store for us!

The ACOTAR novella is set to be released in May 2018…which does mean some slight date changes for the rest of the Throne of Glass series.

Tower of Dawn

Yes, the ACOTAR novella means that the final ToG novel is to be released in autumn 2018. But, with Tower of Dawn coming next month and the exciting prospect of reading more about Feyre and Rhys in the coming spring, I’m sure we can manage the wait! Sarah never ceases to amaze me with her incredible writing capabilities.

Is everyone ready for the imminent Tower of Dawn release? I know I am! It will be published on the 5th September – so add that to your calendars!

(Also in her newsletter, Sarah revealed that an ACOTAR box set will also be released on the same day!)

Another exciting thing is the Tower of Dawn preorder pouch! If you have preordered the novel, all you have to do is submit a copy of your receipt to get an exclusive pouch based on the book. Perfectly timed for back-to-school supplies as well!

Tours

The final news I have to impart on you, is that of Sarah’s upcoming tours. She is touring both the US and the UK so if you want to meet the wonderful woman, don’t forget to book tickets! There are only three dates in the UK, and just seven in the US, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they sell out quickly!
