And that’s a wrap on Victoria Aveyard’s breakout YA series! There’s no question that War Storm definitely brought drama to the table. The stakes weren’t just high for Norta and the surrounding nations, but they were just as high for the characters and their personal lives. Cal’s and Mare’s relationship were at front and center as nations risked collapsing. And Evangeline was at risk of losing and gaining everything.
Then there was Maven’s death — talk about tragic! And yet it seems like the series was always building up to a tragic ending in some way or another.

Slightly disappointed. I needed more Maven. How was there not more Maven? ☹️
Just finished war storm I couldn’t deal with the icy relationship mare had with cal but I understood why the ending though I wanted them to end of together and live the rest of their lives in peace. I was kinda hoping cal could’ve found someone that was able to fix maven cause I’m the end maven loved mare too he was a monster but that was because of Elara and it wasn’t his fault he had to potential to be an epic love interest for mare if only someone could’ve fixed him. I wouid desperatly want a fifth red queen book but wether that happens or not we’ll see. My favorite quote I can’t possibly pick one but my favorite parts are when they are fighting together and they say no more crowns or when cal is reading the diary. This entire series has so many twists and turns and you truly don’t know what to expect this series will be one of my favorites for a long time.
