Spring is almost here and so is one of our favorite events of the year: YallWest.
Organizers of the YA book festival announced the author line up for the 2019 event via Instagram Thursday and can we just say WOW!? This year’s lineup looks amazing and is bigger than in previous years. If you’ve never gone (we recommend you do!) or if you’re planning to attend for the first time, take a quick look at last year’s schedule to get an idea of what to expect at this year’s YallWest. Over 80 authors (we’re counting 88) are expected to attend the book festival taking place on May 3-4, 2019 at Santa Monica High School.
Margaret Stohl (Life of Captain Marvel), Angie Thomas (On the Come Up), Ally Condie (The Dark Deep), Melissa de la Cruz (29 Dates), Victoria Schwab (The Steel Prince), Pseudonymous Bosch (The Unbelievable Oliver), Alexandra Bracken (The Darkest Legacy), Lauren Oliver (Broken Things), Veronica Roth (The End and Other Beginnings, Carve the Mark), Tahereh Mafi (A Very Large Expanse of Sea) are expected to attend, just to name a few.
