With only a week left before the ‘Divergent’ movie is officially released, we’ve got ourselves wondering: What are the scenes that everyone is most looking forward to? So, to celebrate that fact that there are only seven days left in this wait, I’ve put together a list of the 7 most anticipated scenes in ‘Divergent’.

Of course, if you haven’t read the book/seen the movie yet, you should be warned that these are all spoilers.

7. The Aptitude Test!

Because puppy. This is what really gets the wheels turning in the book. We’re excited for this scene because it’ll be cool to see the simulation come to life, but also because of the exciting revelation at the end of the test. And puppy.

6. When Tris jumps off the building and meets Four.

Easily one of the most heart-pounding scenes in the whole book! Just like Tris, you’re thinking, “Parkour? Wutt.” But when she gets to the net after jumping, you’re just excited because Four’s in town.

5. The Choosing Ceremony

This is one of those scenes that gets your feels all worked up. I mean, imagine: You have to choose the fate of the rest of your life–and you’re just a teenager. Oh, and this isn’t just going off to college. No, this is permanent. Families are torn apart in this scene, and we, of course, know how it all turns out for the Prior family. This is a favorite not just because it’s so paramount to the plot, but also because it gets us all emotional.

4. When Tris goes into Four’s fear landscape.

One of the reasons that Four makes such a great character is that you have the perception that he’s this perfect guy, and then you realize that he’s like everyone else–he has vulnerabilities. This idea is solidified when Tris peers into Tobias’s fear landscape. Here, we see Four at his most vulnerable. It makes him real–and much more relatable. I mean, come on, who doesn’t think Four’s fears are some of the most tragic?

3. When Four throws knives at Tris’s face.

Knife Throwing Scene

Another one that gets Eric on your nerves, and one that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It’s an iconic moment in the series and it’s definitely a fan favorite. It gives us good insight into what separates those who are brave from those who are cowardly. Also, Theo James throwing knives.

2. When Four is under the mind-control simulation.

I can hear you now: “Wait? But no! This part is so sad! It’s awful! Why would I be looking forward to Four trying to kill Tris?” Those are some valid points. But consider the fact that this scene just might be the most important moment in all of Tris’s and Tobias’s relationship. After weeks of getting to know each other–of opening up to each other and falling in love–this is the trial that tests whether or not their feelings are genuine. Do you think that it’s any coincidence that this incident takes place at the end of the final book? Of course not! Tris and Tobias needed the ultimate way to prove their love to one another–especially when considering what lies ahead. While sad, this scene is also triumphant in that it proves to not just the readers, but to Tris and Four, that their love is what anchors them to reality.

1. When Four shows his tattoos to Tris.

Let’s be honest. If you’re a Four-stricken fangirl/Dumbledore and you love Divergent, THIS is the scene you’re most anxious for. I myself am a guy and I much prefer Shailene Woodley ;). But even when I saw the film, I can’t deny that the girls in the theater had the strongest reaction to this scene. Yup, all those fangirls were squealing like little pigs at a bacon fest. Only, this isn’t your ordinary bacon. This is Four. No, not Thor. Four, with all the tattoos and muscles in between. He reminds us guys about the gym. He makes the girls thankful for the gym.
