With the approach of Four: A Divergent Collection coming nearer, Veronica Roth is busy at work promoting her latest book.  She sat down with TeenVogue.com to talk about her success and why this new book is important to readers.

“This book was really a way for me to give back to readers,” says Veronica. “It was great as a writer to explore this character since he was such a fan favorite. He’s very capable. No matter what situation he’s in, he has the resources to deal with it, because he has this sort of strength inside him. He can survive.”

We’re definitely happy that she decided to expand one of our favorite character’s back story!  But expect her to take a break after this book’s release.

“I feel like I’m ready to take a break,” says Veronica. “I will write again…eventually.”
