A lot has happened recently concerning the ‘Divergent’ film and its sequels! Check out some of the new updates you may have missed this last week!
The first and most prominent news article has been the release of the new ‘Divergent’ theatrical trailer. The new trailer shows us some awesome new clips and does a much better job at explaining the story than its predecessors. Fans are more than excited for the film to be released after watching this trailer (it already has over a million views!)

Fans were also eager to hear news updates on the film adaption of Insurgent. Lionsgate announced that they will begin production on the film this May, only two months after the release of ‘Divergent’. This means that the stars of the movie will be very busy over the next several months! Actors like Shailene Woodley and Theo James have already begun promoting the new film and will more than likely continue to do so through its release. Soon after, it’s back to filming. ‘Insurgent’ is scheduled for a March 2015 release.
And finally, when asked for an update on the editing of ‘Divergent’, director Neil Burger had this to say:
