What does basketball superstar LeBron James do in his downtime? He reads Divergent.

Sports Illustrated brought the story to our attention. In a recent interview with CNN sports anchor Rachel Nichols, LeBron told her that he was reading Veronica Roth’s Divergent–a book that most of our readers are very familiar with. LeBron is in the middle of playoffs, and one of the things he does to focus is read!

Divergent isn’t the first YA book LeBron has read. Back in 2012, during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, he mentioned that he read his way through The Hunger Games trilogy.”I was reading to not only do something different, but also to take my mind off the game… You know, I needed some moments where I could just get a different perspective,” said LeBron in the interview.

Watch the interview with Oprah below:

We can certainly get behind the idea of reading to stay focused! TEN POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR LEBRON!

LeBron James is a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is currently competing in the NBA playoffs.
