Yesterday, The Hollywood Reported announced that Noah Oppenheim will pen the script ‘Allegiant’ part 1. ‘Insurgent’ is still in production, but since the movies will come out one year apart from each other is only logical that they will start working on ‘Allegiant’ as soon as possible.
Oppenheim is an Emmy winning television producer. He is currently a senior producer of NBC’s Today Show, he has worked in NBC News and Loosing it with Jillian among other things. He recently wrote the screenplay for James Dashner’s ‘The Maze Runner’, which will be out in a few months, and is also a co-author of The New York Bestseller, ‘The Intellectual Devotional:American History’.
