With last night’s surprise announcement that “something BIG” is coming this Sunday at MTV’s Video Music Awards, the fandom is buzzing with talk that this event could be the hailing of the first trailer and look at ‘Divergent.’ And so, naturally, that has us thinking: what do we want to see in the ‘Divergent’ trailer?

Here are five of our favorite scenes and characters that we’re hoping they’ll showcase in a movie trailer!

The First Jump
Not only does this event in the book begin Tris’s true initiation, but it’s also symbolic for the leap of faith she takes in herself when she joins Dauntless. It sets the tone for the rest of the story: facing our fears, and has quickly become one of many fan favorites from the book. Not to mention that if they use some super-action music here in the trailer, it’ll make it all the more epic.

The Prior Family
Maybe this one is cheating a little because it’s not necessarily one single thing or person, but multiple. But, hey, let’s be honest, the Prior family as a whole would be a real treat to see! How can you not love Andrew and Natalie Prior by the end of Divergent? And, of course, everyone is totally pumped to catch Ansel Elgort as Caleb.

Fear Landscapes
Let’s face it: these scenes are cool. There’s really not much more to be said there–only that we hope if we do get to see one of these scenes, it’s Four’s fear landscape. Speaking of Four…

Four
Okay, this one goes without saying. We know all the fangirls are dying to see Theo James as Four for the first time–and we’re not talking movie stills. We’re talking a real, live, moving, breathing image of him ON SCREEN! And with so many good lines coming from this single character, it’s hard to pinpoint just which scene or line we want to see most from James’s interpretation. But, honestly, just about any will do!

Jeanine Matthews
As the main antagonist, she’s arguably one of the best characters in the story. Jeanine Matthews is both cunning, brilliant and I-want-to-inject-you-with-serum-and-make-you-kill-people evil! It can’t get much better than that, right? Oh, wait: Academy Award Winner, Kate Winslet, is playing Jeanine. It just got much better.

Will we be seeing all of these in the potential movie trailer this Sunday? Probably not. If we do get treated to a movie trailer, it will probably just be one scene from the film as it would probably just be a teaser.

But that doesn’t stop us from wanting to see these scenes and characters!
