Here’s a fun fact for all of you Potterheads out there! Harry Potter was originally planned to be named Harry Batt.

The revelation comes from J.K. Rowling a week ago at Oxford’s Sheldonian Theatre. Rowling was in attendance for Exeter College’s 700th Anniversary at an event titled, “Mortality and Morality”, where she talked Potter as well as her future books.
