She’s at it again! In her latest series of candid Q&A sessions, J.K. Rowling took some time to answer fan questions about religion at Hogwarts.
The discussion started a couple days ago after one fan asked if any of the Hogwarts students were Jewish. Rowling identified Ravenclaw Anthony Goldstein as a Jewish wizard. Goldstein would have been in the same graduating class as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Rowling then added the following:
OK, let me clarify that! Anthony isn’t the first Jewish student, nor is he the only one. I just have reasons for knowing most about him!

When asked about whether or not Hogwarts is accepting of LGBT students, Rowling responded with the following:
