City of Bones, the book that began the story of the Shadowhunters, turns 10 this year. In honor of its celebration, it was revealed a very special edition of City of Bones was being published later this year. As promised we now have our first look at the new edition thanks to Entertainment Weekly, who also shared some details about what we can expect to see in the special edition:
EW can reveal both the 10th anniversary cover (a cloth-over-board jacket with text and art stamped in foil) as well as a portrait of Jace Wayland — one of six full-color character portraits that will appear in the new book. The book also features chapter header illustrations, black-and-white illustrations scattered throughout the book, and The Clave’s Confidential Files on our favorite characters, written by Clare herself.

The 10th anniversary edition will be out November 7, 2017, but is available for pre-order now.
