Yes, you read the headline right! Take all of this with a grain of salt–we don’t know how true (if at all) any of this actually is. But it’s worthy enough to post.
Three male actors will reportedly be auditioning for a role in ‘The 5th Wave’. The article makes no mention of what role they’ll be going for, however the fact that this is news at all makes us think that it’s Evan Walker or Ben Parish. The news comes from Variety who lists three actors who will be auditioning for the part. Those three actors are: Tye Sheridan, Nick Robinson, and Mitchell Hope (who are displayed above in that order).
The three actors will apprently be working with Chloe Moretz through auditions, which it to be expected. A big part of who gets the job will probably have to do with the chemistry between them and Chloe.
Again, these are just rumors with no official word from Sony or GK Films.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THESE THREE ACTORS?
This is so nerve wrecking. I could only POSSIBLY see Nick Robinson as Evan or Ben. Not the other two. Just no. Nick as Evan because he has the look and he looks playfully young and looks cute. I’ve never seen him act so that’s the only problem I have. I could also see him as Ben because he has a popular cute high school boy. I don’t know.
I meant he has a high school boy LOOK in him. I really have no idea who would be PERFECT for Evan. Any suggestions anyone?
Ok I have watched “the kings of summer”…. wow such a good movie. Ok the point here is that nick Robinson in my opinion is a great actor. I would not mind at all if he played Evan (he’d probably just need to buff up and get more muscular to look a little more like Evan physically.) I guess I would even be excited if he got cast. And if gets cast as Ben then whoever gets cast as Evan has to be better because I just like Evan better in the book and I’d just be torn if I liked Ben better in the movie and Evan more in the book. Lol 🙂
Personally I would like to see nick play Ben he kinda seems more high school boy to me. He looks playful and not to far away from what I imagine the real Ben Parish to be like. I have no clue who can be Evan I feel like you need more of a chiselled look person abit less jokey ish I dont know just seems like we need more of a mysterious. looking character to play the Evan I imagine
