We’ve got one of our first interviews from an actor about The 5th Wave Movie! Maika Monroe, who will be playing Ringer in the upcoming adaptation, sat down with MTV to talk about her experience filming the movie.
“There’s something different about this one than kind of the Divergent and Hunger Games,” said Monroe in the interview. “It takes place now, so it’s characters that I feel like are slightly more relatable that I liked. And especially my character–reading the script and reading the book, I just kind of fell in love with.”
She also talks about gun training and her dramatic transformation for the part!
