Joseph R. Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States on Wednesday, but much of the talk was focused on Lady Gaga and … the Hunger Games.
Lady Gaga sang the national anthem at the inauguration, but as soon as she took the mic, many viewers noted the golden brooch she wore — a centerpiece to her outfit. The brooch is clearly a dove carrying an olive branch, a symbol of peace.
However, its resemblance to the mockingjay pin worn by Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games books and movies didn’t go unnoticed.
