Red Queen Book 3 News: ‘King’s Cage’ Cover Reveal!

Look no further! We have the cover for the third book in the Red Queen series, ‘King’s Cage’!

What do you think will happen in King’s Cage?

Red Queen’s fans, the wait is over! Buzzfeed revealed the cover for King’s Cage today, the third installment in the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard.

Last week, fans were going crazy trying to figure out what the title was and today we get the cover!

So, without further ado, here it is…

What do you think of the cover?

I think the colors are especially relevant because they’re getting darker as things get darker on the plot. In comparison to the previous covers the crown is quite different this time.

Victoria Aveyard talked to Buzzfeed about the book and said we can expect some big changes in this one:

King’s Cage is very much a reset in terms of many characters, especially Mare. We pick up right where Glass Sword left off, which means she is in a very precarious position. I think many readers will be excited to see some characters we didn’t get a lot of in Glass Sword back on the page, as well as a reintroduction to the royal court of Silvers. There are also POV changes, and I hope readers are as excited for that as I am.

Point of view changes?! OMG! Maybe we’ll get Maven’s point of view in this book? (Fingers crossed!)

Last week’s title revelation had us speculating that the book will more than likely dive deeper into King Maven’s character. Maven will be playing a major and much more expanded role in this book as opposed to the last two, according to Aveyard. We’ll have to wait to see what that role is exactly, but the title gives us a few ideas.

King’s Cage will be available on February 7th, 2017.
