We’re starting a book club!

Registration is now open! 😀

We’re excited to announce Bookstacked’s YA Book Club!

Why a book club? Clubs bring people with similar interests together — and what better thing to rally around than books? Members of the Bookstacked Team will lead the club through a different YA book each month. There’ll be plenty of weekly discussions to participate in and you’re sure to meet lots of new friends!

The book club will launch in two weeks — at the beginning of September. Click here to register!

Looking for more info? Here are some answers to questions you may have…

What will we read?

Bookstacked’s YA Book Club will focus on young adult literature (just like our site!) We’ll read just about anything you can find in YA. That includes contemporary stories, genre fiction, and anthologies.

We will be reading Because You Love to Hate Me: 13 Tales of Villainy as our first book club pick this September. Because You Love to Hate Me is a YA anthology featuring the writing of YA authors and popular BookTubers.

How do I register?

Book club activities will be hosted through a private Facebook group for the time being. (We hope to expand it to Twitter and Instagram in the near future). You’ll need a Facebook account to join. First, be sure to read the rules (listed on the Facebook group page). Then you simply have to request access to the Facebook group. Once your request is approved, you’ll be good to go!

Who is it for?

The book club is for everyone who loves young adult literature! The only restriction we have is in regards to age. As the main hub of the book club will be found on Facebook, we ask that members be at least 13 years old. This is in compliance with Facebook’s age policy.

What else do I need to know?

The book club is on a “trial run.” We plan for it to continue through this December. We’ll be tweaking it along the way. Feel free to give us feedback during the process. Should the book club be successful in those four months, we’ll continue hosting it through 2018.
