IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED LEGEND BOOK 4, DO NOT SCROLL DOWN! THERE ARE REBEL SPOILERS ON THIS PAGE!

..

A summary of Rebel by Marie Lu? Intense! And different. Whereas the earlier books in the Lu’s Legend saga tell us the dual stories of Day and June, Rebel is very much a story about brothers.

Not only that, but the setting and conflict were very different too. We finally got a deep-dive into Ross City and we were introduced to one of Marie Lu’s most memorable villains yet.

So what do you think? Everyone’s bound to have a lot of thoughts about Rebel. Let’s talk.

Leave your thoughts and feelings in the comment section to engage with other fans!

Not sure where to start? Here are some discussion points that you can address if you’d like:

  • What are your first impressions of who Eden’s grown up to be?
  • What do you think of Day’s “legendary” status that he now holds?
  • Are you surprised to see that Day is still suffering from his memory loss?
  • What do you think of Day becoming an AIS agent?
  • We finally get to explore Ross City! What are your thoughts on the level system?
  • Were you shipping Eden and Pressa?
  • How do you feel about Day’s and Eden’s rocky relationship? Do you think Day is too protective of Eden? Does Eden not appreciate Day?
  • What do you think about Day’s and June’s relationship 10 years later? Is this what you were expecting?
  • How do you feel about Dominic Hann and the whole Undercity atmosphere?
  • Were you happy to see Tess return?
  • Do you agree with Hann’s aims? Might they have merit?
  • Was it just us or … do Hann and Eden have constant philosophical discussions?
  • Do you think the level system will be better after Eden presented its flaws?
  • What do you think about Pressa going to LA?
  • Were you uber excited about Day’s and June’s engagement?
