Divergent author Veronica Roth announced this morning that she will be publishing a brand new book series with Harper Collins, her former publisher.

According to a press release, Roth’s new series will be a duology (a series of two books). The new series is being described as in “the vein of Star Wars.” It will reportedly follow the story of two boys who are seeking exit out of their oppressive environment. While one is motivated by redemption, the other by revenge.

“I’m really enjoying working on this new series,” said Roth in the press release. “I can’t wait to share it with my readers!”

The news comes less than a year after the publication of Roth’s collection of short stories, Four: A Divergent Collection, and just before the film adaption of the second Divergent book, Insurgent. This will be Roth’s second series and, like Divergent, is being published by Katherine Tegen at HarperCollins.

The first book is scheduled for a 2017 release with the second expected to follow in 2018.
