The Hunger Games: The Phenomenon

Check out this 13 minute featurette of Mockingjay Part 2, featuring behind the scenes footage and interviews from the cast, producers and the director himself.

Last night, Fandango released a 13 minute featurette about Mockingjay Part 2, which includes the cast’s thoughts and feelings about The Hunger Games and how these movies have made an impact not only on themselves but on the audiences who watch them as well. The cast, director, producers and set designers talk the building and location of sets, how they were inspired by the buildings found at the 1936 World’s Fair. The featurette shows clips from all three films and some behind the scenes footage from the filming of Mockingjay Part 2.

While I have a feeling that the full featurette will be included in the Mockingjay Part 2 DVD (I know it’s too early to be thinking about a DVD release but I can’t help myself!), the 13 minutes are just enough to half tease us, half satisfy us and our need for more Mockingjay Part 2 material!

With the Los Angeles premiere only a few days away and the film being released nationwide next week, is this enough to keep you satisfied until then?

Let us know what you think about the featurette by leaving a comment below or on our Facebook or Twitter.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 hits theaters November 20, 2015.

A fangirl with too many fandoms and not enough time. Lover of tea, baking, traveling and cats. “Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?” ― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
