We finally have a new director for the fourth and final movie in the Divergent series franchise.
It was announced at the beginning of February that ‘Insurgent’ and ‘Allegiant’ director Robert Schwentke would be taking a break from directing. He reportedly needed a break after shooting the films back-to-back.
After a bit of speculation (and confusion) we can now confirm that Lee Toland Krieger will be taking the lead as the director of the final Divergent movie. Toland has directing a handful of movies in the past but is best known for directing last year’s ‘The Age of Adeline’.
We’ll just have to wait and see what he brings to the table.
