Some exciting news tonight! Buzzfeed has released the second quote from Allegiant, by Veronica Roth; this one a quote not from Tris, but from Four.
“Sometimes I still forget to look for the gentler parts of her. For so long all I saw was the strength, standing out like the wiry muscles in her arms or the black ink marking her collarbone with flight.”
What do you think about the quote? While the last quote seemed to revolve more around the mystery aspect of the trilogy (what might be beyond the fence?), this quote focuses a lot more on the relationship between Four and Tris.
As we reported recently, Veronica Roth has stated that Four and Tris’s relationship will be expanded in the next book.
So far, Tris and Four’s relationship has been somewhat chaste and I think everyone is rooting for things to get a little more physically intimate, let’s just put it that way. In Allegiant, the relationship definitely develops, but I won’t spoil more.
Allegiant will be released next month, October 22, 2013.
